"Incredible wee spot. Loved being in the north of the island. Heard cuckoos, woodpeckers and owls. Would love to return sometime"

"Absolutely loved every minute of being here. The huts are really cosy and loved the wee extras such as the biscuits and marshmallows but especially the smidge spray. Will definitely be back very soon 😊"

"Peace at last! Our time at Birch cabin can only be described as peaceful. The beautiful views of the sea through one window and a birch forest through the other was enchanting. Having no wifi forced us to slow down the pace and really enjoy our time there. I had the best nights of sleep I’ve had in years. Such a beautiful retreat to nature and a hark to simpler times. I would be back in a heartbeat"

"We had a wonderful stay in the Alder, which was perfect for immersing ourselves in nature and escapism for a full weekend! Everything we needed was to hand in what is a thoughtfully designed, well managed and beautifully constructed Charcoal Hut. Thanks so much to the Bute Forest Team for allowing us to detach from our usual city life to the tranquility of the forest".

"Lovely little cabin, big enough for two adults and three large dogs. Surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer"

"A beautiful, peaceful space that has been thoughtfully put together. The bed and seating is very comfortable, the fire extremely effective, and the hut is stocked with all the small things you might need".

It’s a great place for a one night stay. The owners clearly care about you and the stay. Coffee is ground, there are treats for the kids, everything is super clean.

Really appreciated having the communal sink to do dishes and wash our hands after a long walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely location. Perfect if you’re after a glamping weekend on Bute.

We had a truly beautiful time here - waking up to birdsong in the forest, having sunset dinner on the porch and a good nights sleep in comfy beds. Definitely coming again!

Fantastic off-grid huts! Incredibly comfortable, very eco-friendly, amazing location on Bute. Will certainly be back and tell everyone I know to book these!
