Wildflower Wander

This year we held a Wildflower Wander along at Moss Wood over the 28th and 29th of July. These wanders were led by our resident ecologist and ranger Samuel Lindsay.

We had a great weekend welcoming visitors for a short walk around the forest to identify the flowers and trees and learn a bit about their history, uses and how many of them got their names. This was followed with teas, coffees and snacks while we sat back and looked at all of the plants we now recognised!

Don't worry if you missed out on this year's Wildflower Wander, we had great fun running this event and will be planning on doing this again next Summer!
