Roundhouse Opening

After having to reschedule from before, we were finally able to have our official roundhouse opening! It was great to be able to finally show off this project, and we couldn't have had a better day for it. Visitors were able to listen to Jessica and Gordon talk about the history of the area and the Ogham language and kids were able to carve their own wands to take home.

Now is also a great time to thank Jessica Heriot, Gordon Stevenson, Jim Rodgers and Samuel Lindsay, who built this amazing structure.

The idea behind this addition to the forest is to be able to add a historical aspect to some of our events and education programmes. Although we're only having the opening now, we've already been able to host multiple forest school classes here, learning all about how people once lived on the landscape.

You'll have to stay tuned to see what we're planning here next...
