Our New Woodland Management Plan
As mentioned in our last newsletter, we are finally ready to present you with our Woodland Management Plan for Moss Wood. This plan outlines our intentions for felling, replanting and community infrastructure and we are very excited to get started on these projects next year. This report is to be submitted to Scottish Forestry so there is slightly more focus on the woodland side of the plan. We'll be sending out another plan that will outline the community projects in greater detail around the end of January.
This is your chance to tell us your thoughts on the direction of the Community Forest! It's just as important to let us know if you like the plan, as it is if you have some concerns about it. If you would like to share your thought with us, you can feel free to email us at [email protected]. The consultation time will close on the 28th of December (3 weeks today) with the hope of getting the plan submitted to Scottish Forestry before the start of 2023!
